Get comfortable first
Open the game and choose your interface language on the start screen or in the menu. English, Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese are available. For a first session, use practice to experiment with aim and power. When you are ready for an opponent, open online play or try the computer.
On a computer
- Move the mouse over the table to aim. Use A/D or the left/right arrow keys for fine adjustments.
- Pull down the cue-shaped power control and release to shoot. Start with a short pull; more power is not always better.
- Choose the contact point on the small cue ball to add spin. Return the point to the center when comparing ordinary shots.
- During the opponent’s turn, drag with the right mouse button to look around and scroll to zoom.
On a phone
- Rotate to landscape when opening the game. The game interface requires a horizontal screen.
- Swipe left or right to aim; lift your finger to keep that direction. Use Fine aim for a smaller adjustment.
- Pull the side power control down and release. Return the drag to its starting point to cancel.
- Open Spin for the cue-ball contact point. The menu lets you change which side holds the power control.
If something feels wrong
If the scene is slow, lower graphics quality in the display menu and close other demanding tabs. If aiming or shooting is unavailable, check whether it is your turn, balls are still moving, you are viewing a replay or the game is waiting for a rules choice.
Online play needs a working connection to the game server. Loading the website does not guarantee that the online server is available. Check your connection and rejoin the same room before starting a new one.
