Your next game of pool is a link away.

Privacy while you play.

This notice describes the data used by the current Rackbi game and website.

Your browser and guest session

The game stores language, graphics quality and control-side preferences in local browser storage. A tab identifier is stored for that browser tab. Online play uses a session cookie called pool_session with a 30-day lifetime; it lets the server recognise your guest session. The cookie is not readable by game JavaScript.

The server stores a hash of the session token, its expiry and guest profiles including identifiers and display names. Your chosen name is shown to other participants. You do not need to provide an email address for the current guest-play flow.

Chat, matches and reports

Room chat is held in the active room’s memory with a bounded recent history. Player and spectator messages use separate channels. Do not treat either channel as confidential or share sensitive information there.

Completed online replays may be saved with player display profiles, shot information, timestamps and match states. Anyone who has a valid replay link can access it. The saved replay record does not contain the room’s chat messages.

A player report stores the reporting and reported player identifiers, room code, time and the reason provided. It is separate from the replay record.

Retention and service delivery

Guest sessions expire; the application cleans up expired session data through its maintenance process. Saved replays are limited by age and storage capacity: the current age limit is seven days, with earlier removal possible. Report files are also rotated and cleaned by size and age. These application limits are not a promise about hosting logs or backups.

Cloudflare delivers the website and proxies online traffic to the game server. Network requests expose technical information such as IP addresses to the services handling them; the game server uses IP-based limits to control abuse.

Choices on your device

You can clear Rackbi cookies and site storage in your browser to remove local settings and access to that guest session. This does not itself delete already saved server records or shared replay copies. Using a different browser or clearing storage may create a new guest identity.

Avoid putting personal information in a display name, chat message or report reason. This website does not currently provide a self-service request form for access to or deletion of server records.
