Your next game of pool is a link away.

Send the code. Meet at the table.

Two players, separate devices, one shared table. No game installation needed.

From invitation to first break

  • Open Rackbi and choose online play. Enter the display name you want other people in the room to see.
  • Create a room. The server assigns its five-digit code; you do not need to invent one.
  • Send the code to your friend. They open Rackbi on their own device and use the code to join.
  • Once both players are in the room, each opens the menu and selects Ready.
  • Complete the opening lag. Its winner chooses who breaks, then the rack begins.

Agree on the game before starting

The room host can adjust the available match options before the rack starts. Check the clock setting together and read the Heyball rules if you are used to a different form of eight-ball. These are guest-friendly matches, with no competitive rating at stake.

Use the in-room text chat between shots. Your display name and messages are visible to the relevant participants, so avoid sharing private details. Voice chat is not currently provided by Rackbi.

If your friend cannot join

Check that you sent the current room code and that the room still exists. A full or started table may offer spectator access rather than a playing seat. Open a new room together when you want a fresh two-player game.

If a connection drops during a rack, try returning to the same tab. The game allows a reconnect window, but rooms are not permanent and cannot survive every server restart.
